SENIOR TECHNICIAN – APPLIANCE & HVAC

Job Description

The Senior Appliance & HVAC Engineering Technician should install, troubleshoot, service and repair products that fall in these categories. This includes but is not limited to connecting electrical supply, water, drain, exhaust, or gas lines to these products. Demonstrate to customers how to operate & care for said products properly. Must know how to dismantle and reassemble these products safely without damaging or tarnishing said products. Also assist with technical training and support to other technicians, sales & marketing personnel. 

Roles and Responsibilities

1A. Major Roles & Responsibilities - Install, troubleshoot, service and repair: 

1. 1. Air Conditioners 
   2. Water Heaters 
   3. Fans 
   4. Pumps 
   5. Kitchen & Laundry Appliances and other related equipment. 

 1B. Secondary Roles & Responsibilities - Work alongside other technician(s) to Install, troubleshoot, service and repair:  

1. 1. Alternative Energy Systems (Solar, Wind Energy Systems) 
   2. Smart Devices & Electronics 
   3. Other related Equipment 

2. Team lead other technicians that falls below in ranking (i.e. Technicians & Junior Technicians)   

3. Plan and coordinate projects/jobs related to the aforementioned solutions.  

4. Conduct Site Visits Assessments and Prepare Material List  

5. Resolve complex technical issues in relation to solutions provided by the company.  

6. Provide technical support to and assist in the training of company personnel, affiliates, and clients in relations to products and services being sold.  

7. Provide Assistance to Transport and Deliver aforementioned items.  

8. Assist in Research and develop (R&D) of new and existing solutions.   

9. Work alongside consulting engineers, contractors, and equipment suppliers.  

10. Manage, maintain. develop tools and equipment resourced used to carry out works by the company.  

11. Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualification Requirements

1. Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Appliance Related Field.
2. At least 5 Years Extensive Experience in field of discipline (having experience specific to our company products and services is a plus)
3. Training in the use of Microsoft Office Software Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
4. Training in the use of CAD Design Software or Related
5. Good Interpersonal Skills.
6. Good problem solving skills
7. Must Possess a Driver’s License
